Being a perfectionist does not always work well in my line of work.
It's one of my biggest flaws, but when I work with clay, can be a strength.
However, in my attempts to do things perfect, I put things off, and I put them off again. Take stamped jewelry for example. Over two years ago, when I first saw stamped jewelry, the designer was Swede At Heart. Remember her? She is an amazing woman of God, and a very caring friend. I wanted to start stamping right then and there! I loved the simple, rustic, artistic charm of her jewelry.
So here I am two (or more) years later, and I've finally started. Can I just tell you how difficult it is to be 'different' in the world of stamped jewelry? It's like finding a needle in a hay stack! The last thing I want to do is to "be like everyone else." I've never been like everyone else. I HAVE to be different...
So...I'm going to give Stamping a shot, and hope I don't get any emails claiming I've copied *cringe* If I copy you, let me apologize up front...I am so very sorry! I did not know I had copied anyone ;)
On my list to do...
1. Precious Metal Clay (oh yeaaah) 2. Metal smithing.

Sorry about the horrific grammar in my post title ;)
It can be difficult coming up with a catchy title to gain a click or two...
